Homeschool Drop-off Day Enrollment

Fort Worth Sudbury School offers our Drop-off Day to area homeschooling families looking to experience the benefits of participating in our democratic community.

Attendance Requirements

We’ve created this offering for homeschooling families needing a part-time drop-off option. FWSS is a secular, inclusive, and engaging environment to learn & grow within - it’s almost like homeschooling at school! Our mentors are happy to support and build off of your homeschooler’s current interests & passions, as well as providing an enriching environment to create new ones.

To facilitate our commitment to creating a student led community we do require:
  • Drop-in families will pick a specific day to attend. This ensures students will see familiar faces each week, creating opportunities for friendship & community. (Always Mondays, etc.)
  • Students arrive by 10:00AM on the day they are attending, in order to participate in the daily pop-in meeting.

Enrollment Process
1. Contact us to confirm availability.

Fill out a contact form here or call us at 817-303-9143.

2. Trial Month.
Students will attend their selected day of the week for the first month on a trial basis. During the trial students will have the opportunity to experience how a democratic school feels & sounds, how our community interacts & supports each other, and gain a better understanding of how their days at FWSS might look. We expect students to spend a great deal of time playing games, talking with peers, and getting to know the basic rules and procedures.

3. Make it Official.
After the trial month, if a student is still interested in our school and decides to stay, School Meeting will vote them in as a formal student member.

Tuition
Tuition for the one day a week Homeschool Drop-off Day is $150 per student & will be due at the beginning of each month.
