What do our families love about Fort Worth Sudbury School?
"I love that Fort Worth Sudbury values our family’s time. We enjoy evenings and weekends with our children without looming homework battles. We know we can travel as a family without punishment.

Fort Worth Sudbury is a place where learning is joyful, not coercive. My children know they will have plenty of time to explore their interests, use their imaginations and stretch their legs."

"I just want to personally thank everyone for giving my student such as awesome place and experience this year....  School has never been something he loved
and he didn't want the year to end.  My heart is so full."

My children wake up by themselves and get ready for school without me having to constantly walk them through getting dressed. I haven’t woke up to them faking being sick just to avoid going to school. My son and my daughter look forward to going to school  daily, even when I give them the option to stay home and take a mental health day.

I finally realized education doesn’t just happen in classrooms or just in a school environment. Every opportunity to teach someone who’s willing to learn is a gift that keeps giving! This school doesn’t have large class sizes, so the children have more time to explore new opportunities, and investigate what they are interested in. I see them mentally opening up, and pursuing their own interest in life.

We are a part of a community that helps them develop their communication skills, creativity, independence, and problem solving skills. My daughter has started thinking like an entrepreneur and started a nail salon business in the art room, and my son is very interested in pilot school through playing and having conversations with his Sudbury classmates.

Being a parent in this day and time can be stressful. Forcing your children to go to a place every day that has large amounts of conflict, and lack of consideration and motivation is not the environment we want.  At Fort Worth Sudbury School students get the freedom, independence and support they need to grow.
